A newly built wooden house in Onomichi, which has an adjoining veterinary clinic.
If the floors arrange for their uses (such as the first floor is for the clinic, the 2nd floor is for children's rooms which will become animal training rooms in the future, and the 3rd floor is for living quarter) , porch space which is twice the height of construction layers appears as the 3rd floor needs large area. It planned so as to leave much distance to the surrounding environment: traffic density on the north side, privacy from a high-rise apartment, a work place on the south side. And also it has an opening inside of the rooms.On the other hand, the house stands like a shipbuilding factory facing the Seto Inland Sea, which has contiguous space with the city.

尾道市に新築された動物病院併設の木造住宅。
１階に病院、２階に子供部屋（将来は動物の訓練室を想定）、３階に住居、と使い方に合わせた階配置で積層すると、３階に必要とされる面積が大きいことから地上レベルには２層分の高さのポーチ空間があらわれる。その配置は、北側の交通量や高層マンションからの視線、南側の近接した作業所、などの要因から周辺と少し距離がとれるように建物内に取り込み、室内からも開口を設けた。一方で、西側へは瀬戸内海に面して建つ造船工場のように街と連続した空間をもった建ち方としている。
