Apartment renovation in Tokyo into a hair salon.
The floor and walls were applied paints, showing the existing roughness and leaving colours of the wall as they were.
Brass is chosen for a new equipment material for the window sash and mirror base, which touch the existing building skeleton.
As brass changes itself over time, its texture of the new and the old will be mixed up gradually in the space

都内にあるマンションの１室を美容室に改装する計画。

床や壁は既存躯体の荒々しさや色を残しながら塗装を施してある。新しく設けられるサッシや鏡などが既存と接する箇所には、真鍮といった時間とともに変化する素材が選択されている。
